The placement cell of St. Xavier’s College Kolkata is a dedicated center that acts as a one-stop center working as a bridge between the students and leading industries and corporate houses. The students are prepared well in advance for the placement process. The regular and rigorous examination structure keeps students abreast with their coursework and subjects, thereby producing envious academic records. The placement center dutifully fulfills its job of guiding students in their choice of correct career paths. The cell of St. Xavier’s helps in honing the skills of students required for their chosen career path. The cell conducts seminars and workshops to develop presentation and communication skills. Placement Procedure

Initially the companies are invited to take part in the recruitment drive. Those interested respond and thus register with us for the year for recruitment. The students are intimated and a vast number register for the interview.

The interview process usually starts with a Power Point Presentation where the company enlightens the students about their company profile. Those interested then go for the interview, which usually comprises of a written test followed by group discussion and personal interview.
