About AILET 2019

National Law University, Delhi (NLU-D) conducts All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) for aspirants of law in India every year. After cracking the exam, students can take admission to Five Year BA LLB (Hons.) programme and One Year LLM offered by NLU Delhi. The process of admission is completely merit-based, as candidates are shortlisted based on their AILET scores. All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) is usually conducted in the month of May every year. Next year, AILET is going to be conducted on May 5, 2019 for admission to the five-year integrated undergraduate and post-graduate law programmes.

AILET Conducting Body

The organising authority for AILET is National Law University, Delhi (NLU-D). Unlike other National Law Universities, NLU-D is the only educational body that has not yet accepted the procedure of selecting candidates through CLAT (Common Law Admission Test). Established in 2008 under the Delhi Act No. 1 of 2008, the University of Law has been accredited ‘A’ Grade with a score of 3.59 on a four-point scale by NAAC. The NLU-D administered law entrance exam allows more than thousand candidates to make a career in the field of law. The registration forms for AILET are available from the first week of January on the official website of NLU-D.
